The initial demonstration given to Staplehurst Parish council shows the versatility of the Scarab Minor cleansing vehicle. After an assessment was completed on the service currently available to the community, it was felt that this additional service could indeed supplement and only enhance the village.

Working in partnership with all three authorities, the new service launched at the beginning of April 2011. With the ability to closely evaluate and direct the road cleaning schedule, the overall service has become more effective. This will continue to reflect in the cleanliness of the roads and the projected reduction in certain areas of water/drainage problems.
